With all I've shared, which is basic, very fundamental golf, you can play terrific golf! If you wish to move on to a higher level, read below.

Ball placement within your stance, golf club blade open or closed, swing path-angle and shortening of club length all affect golf shot outcome. These are variants that shape shots by virtue of pre sing set up not swing changes.

Ball placement, farther back or forward will of course alter launch angle AND the type or amount of spin the ball demonstrates. Be careful because moving the ball back will hit it lower, but can backfire and jump higher with more spin which makes it climb even more. Try using a club or two stronger and going down on the grip a notch or two. With this setup the ball is played from the same place as always, and will of course fly lower because the loft is one or two clubs lower. It will fly the prescribed distance of the club you intended to hit from the back because even though it's stronger, it's shorter!

Blade of club slightly open at address, or closed at address. Without further change, ball flight will be slightly lower with a draw if it's the closed version and open at address will yield a shot just a bit higher will a little slide to the right.

Swing the club with a flatter plane and it will fly with the shot shape of your regular swing, but in a wider pattern. Play a shot with a more vertical attack plane and will help it go straighter, higher and is more difficult to hit solid by comparison to the flatter swing plane.
