Arms are not the main source of power in a golf shot. They can supplement the power in a big way, but they are not the main power source.

If you're seeking to hit the ball farther, arm strength is a source, but before arms, comes legs, core, coil, retaining angle, (the lever), uncoiling and more.

The length of a backswing and it's full release forward, is a big factor. Try turning your shoulders farther back before releasing your swing. Certainly attempt to make a tighter turn in an effort to coil effectively and supply a bigger release or uncoil. Be sure to turn fully to your target, not passively, but aggressively. To retain angle effectively, be sure to initiate the forward motion with your core, not your arms! Whether you feel your hips start it, your back knee, or the belt buckle turn in front of the ball, these all are turn oriented thoughts which bring or carry the arms to the ball. The arms will release into the ball secondarily.
